The Capital Project Engineer will manage a portfolio of projects varying between Asset Sustaining, Opportunity, & Supply Chain based out of our FishHawk location. Tasks relating to this job include preliminary or detailed project scoping, engineering design, scheduling, cost estimating, procurement, supervision, execution, and construction management.What you’ll do?Project execution and management of capital projects of varying size and complexityResponsible for safety, scope, schedule, budget and qualityResponsible for contractor management and driving positive safety cultureTechnical design of projects and oversight of third-party engineeringCost control including developing estimates and budgets and providing monthly forecasting for projectsSchedule development and reportingConstruction oversight in an industrial environmentDepartment initiatives (non-project specific engineering, project management process definition)Site and company initiatives to support safety, production, expansion and maintenanceTechnical/personal development and coaching others (contractors, trades, training courses, etc.)What do you need for this role?Broad engineering and construction knowledge in all disciplines is an assetComputer Skills in MS Office Suite are requiredEngineering Software skills requiredHighly Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage competing prioritiesMust be able to work in a Chemical Operating Facility environment2+ years of Engineering experienceDemonstrated project management experience with strong problem-solving skillsRelevant construction management experience in an industrial environmentExperience delivering projects in an operating industrial plant or brownfield environmentDemonstrate strengths in soft skills related to people management, leadership and written/verbal communicationsAbility to assist/supervise technical personnel and work independentlyBonus Points If You:Have experience using SAPHave an active PMP or another project-based certificationWhat’s In It for You:An attractive base salary + an annual bonus incentiveA generous relocation package which includes a monetary stipend, home sale assistance, temporary housing, and moreA 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off11 paid holidays each year401k with a company match + annual company contributions120+ hours of paid vacation annuallyPaid sick leave for when you need itA robust benefits package which includes Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance.Mosaic is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values the strength diversity brings to the workplace.
