The Vermont Department of Health (VDH) is seeking an individual with human service and grant management experience to join the Quality, Compliance and Clinical Services Team as a Substance Use Program Manager, currently based at the Department of Health in Waterbury, Vermont. This position will join a diverse and collaborative team working with programs receiving grant funds from the Division of Substance Use Programs (DSU). This position is responsible for performing oversight and monitoring of federal grants, subgrants and/or Memoranda of Understanding as well as supporting treatment organizations and assisting with the integration of grant-funded programming with other substance use disorder and social services managed by DSU.Who May Apply

Master's degree in public health or a human services field AND two (2) years or more of experience at a professional level in public health, health care administration, or a closely related field, INCLUDING one (1) year or more in program administration.ORBachelor's degree in public health or a human services field AND four (4) years or more of experience at a professional level in public health, health care administration, or a closely related field, INCLUDING two (2) years or more in program administration.ORAssociate's degree in public health or a human services field AND six (6) years or more of experience at a professional level in public health, health care administration, or a closely related field, INCLUDING three (3) years or more in program administration.ORHigh school diploma or equivalent AND eight (8) years or more of experience at a professional level in public health, health care administration, or a closely related field, INCLUDING four (4) years or more in program administration.Total Compensation
