ASI is seeking an experienced Configuration Manager to join our Engineering team to support US DoD projects in Patuxent River, MD. This position requires a self-starter with strong communication skills that works well in a dynamic environment.As a part of our growing team, you will:Collect, organize, and interpret data relating to aircraft and product programsMaintain configuration control of acquisition products and dataTrack configuration changes.Coordinate and support development of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs)Apply government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management, and data managementResponsibilities:Enforce compliance with Configuration Management (CM) policies and procedures to ensure that what is designed, manufactured, installed, and fielded are accurately and completely documented, while maintaining configuration controlMaintain and control specific documents including aircraft technical data packages, electrical and mechanical drawings, and standard operating proceduresSupport creation, implementation, and execution of CM processesEnsure timely posting and distribution of correct revisions on library sites and provide timely distribution of work instructions in accordance with processes to the laboratories and manufacturing shopsSubmit documents through public affairs for public releaseOversee, develop, document, and maintain Technical Data Packages (TDPs), provide TDP status metrics, and perform standards and process development, documentation, and continuous improvement dutiesManage and maintain automated status accounting systems and reports; generate documentation relative to technical reviews, audits, and configuration control boardsAssist and provide support to facilitate the project/taskMaintain accurate records concerning all project/task performance indicatorsCreate and manage files and databases on project performance indicatorsMay travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of the timeRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in a Business or Management discipline, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Management Information Technology3+ years of work experience in performing the stated functionsWorking knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Pro and Microsoft 365 applications to include, Project, Office, SharePoint, and TeamsSelf-motivated and capable of working independentlyStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong collaboration and interpersonal skillsWork Authorization/Security Clearance:Must be a U.S. Citizen and qualify for Secret Clearance
