Job Description Summary:Work on a development team, utilizing Agile scrum methodology, which is responsible for developing and maintaining agency wide Platform as a Service (PaaS) capability deployed across multiple security domains. The PaaS environment supports multiple tenants deploying a myriad application stacks and data services.Specific Duties and Responsibilities:O&M of existing Red Hat OpenShift environment across multiple security domains in both Cloud and datacenter (vSphere) environmentsSupport OpenShift operators and frameworks including Crossplane, Kyverno, RedHat GitOpsDeploy OpenShift to new sites as they come onlineWork with internal and external teams to understand integration requirements and scale existing platforms to meet themWork with Security to ensure ongoing compliance and develop secure solutionsSupport data services including RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, Elastic StackCompile detailed documentationWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education/Experience:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline.5+ years Developer experienceMeet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements including one of the following: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNADesired Skills:Experience deploying and managing RedHat OpenShift in a cloud and/or vSphere environmentExperience with Amazon Web ServicesPython, Shell scripting, Git (desired)Linux distributions: RHEL/RHCOS, CentOSCI/CD orchestration tools: GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitOpsContainer technology: Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud Native Computing Foundation ecosystem in generalDesired Certifications:Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShiftLocation:
