Develop and articulate solutions to complex client automation problems, particularly within the bio-pharmaceutical and food/beverage industries, participating in project execution by providing conceptual and technical expertise related to chemical engineering. Responsible for the design, procurement, programming, testing, commissioning and maintenance of control systems, including Control Panels, PLCs (Rockwell, Schneider, GE, etc), DCS (ABB/Honeywell/DeltaV/Foxboro, etc.), SCADA, Ignition, Instrumentation, HMIs, System Virtualization, and Information Software. Technically, the Controls Specialist will partner with project team leads in: estimating project costs; functional specification development; system architecture design; DCS/PLC/HMI programming; in-house testing of systems; and startup and commissioning at our customers’ sites. Exercise Project Management skills by developing project schedules and budgets in collaboration with clients and internal project management resources, ensuring completion of all project deliverables to the satisfaction of the client while fostering a culture of safety. Interface with customers and offer strong technical expertise and advisement as part of the project team.Minimum Requirements:
Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering or foreign educational equivalent. Six months of experience in the position offered, or in a similar position, such as Junior Automation Engineer.
