Senior Software Developer

to join our team in the

Fort Meade, Maryland area.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Designs, engineers, analyzes, and develops software systems and software delivery processes, including development and operations (DevOps) pipelines.Model and analyze the software development and deployment processes and assist projects in tailoring Agile development and delivery techniques.Engage with Government leaders in defining the context, problem space, and vision to determine capabilities, priorities, roadmaps, transformation plans, and next steps.Develop Agile processes, plans, and architectures to support software development, analysis, and operations.Senior role with managerial experience directing all aspects of IT application development. Supervises and mentors subordinate project and staff. Collaborates and shares work with other Software Developer IIIs.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in an IT, Business, Engineering, Math, Science, or related field.Five or more (5+) years of related experience.Hold one of the following certifications within 6 months of commencing work on the Task Order:CCNA-SecurityCySA+ GICSPGSECSecurity+ CECNDSSCPIf a candidate does not have a degree at all, four (4) additional years of experience are required.If a candidate holds an Associates degree rather than a Bachelors degree, two (2) additional years of experience are required.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Software Development or related discipline.Relevant industry standard certifications.Clearance Requirements:This role requires an active

TS/SCI clearance with polygraph .Physical Requirements:Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer.The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.The projected compensation range for this position is $109,100.00-$181,100.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
