This is a new project that will allow customers such as Macy's and major school systems who have SunPower Solar Panels to manage their energy. The application will take the existing code base for the Residential Customer Portal (RCP) and add new code and features to it. Customers will be able to manage their consumption of energy and buy solar energy.Required skills:Experience implementing new database tablesExperience with stored proceduresExperience taking existing stored procedures and re-implementing it to improve performanceStrong data analysis skills requiredAWS and/or Redshift experience preferredExperience in the solar or energy industry is highly preferredAdditional Information:This project is new, so candidates should expect a longer ramp-up time and will need to allow time to learn RCP (Residential Customer Portal) in order to develop new features for the CCP.SunPower has a very laid-back environment and the dress code for work is casual. The team has the option to work remotely if necessary 1-2 days a week. We have 9 current developers and testers onsite in Austin.
