Seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst and Informatica developer to join the team in Jersey City, NJ. The successful candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, development, and migration activities. The ideal candidate will also have experience working with Actimize surveillance/Trade Surveillance. The Analyst/Developer will play a critical role in driving business growth, improving data quality, and ensuring seamless system integration.
Responsibilities:Perform data analysis and reporting to support business decision-makingCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business needsLead server updates and cloud migration projects to ensure seamless system integrationWork closely with the IT team to ensure data security and complianceDevelop and maintain dashboards and reports using data visualization toolsAnalyze and troubleshoot data discrepancies and system issuesUnderstand the scope of Project Management and be able to scale up to lend a hand when required.
Requirements:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fieldAt least 8-10+ years of experience in data analysis and business analysisMore than 10 years of experience in Oracle/PL SQL, ETL/InformaticaStrong knowledge of Unix shell scriptingHands-on experience on Informatica Upgrade/MigrationExperience in data quality approaches and techniques is a mustExcellent written and communication skills and ability to clearly indicate data integration solution designs and implementationsAgile experienceFinancial Services / Banking experienceBuild Release orchestration toolsExperience in working with larger projects involving multiple groups including nearshore and offshore teamsPerformance Tuning experienceStrong SQL knowledge and ability to develop Informatica repository queriesStrong experience with server updates and cloud migrationProven experience in the financial industry / compliance/ regulatory reporting/ fraud detectionExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and presentation skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlinesProficiency in data visualization tools and programming languages (SQL)
