Continuity Tester 1

DescriptionThe Continuity Tester 1 is responsible for testing electrical systems and equipment to detect faulty wiring.Supervisory Responsibilities:None.Duties/Responsibilities:Inspects wiring of assemblies for accuracy of stripping, soldering, and crimping; look for frayed wires and loose connectionsExamines assemblies for completeness of assembly, quality, and conformance to specificationsTests wiring for relay and control panels to determine continuityIdentify any product defects; record and report them accordinglyMaintain a clean and safe work areaPerform other related duties as assignedRequirementsKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:Strong attention to detail and ability to perform work accuratelyKnowledge of manufacturing, equipment maintenance, and safety managementReading comprehension skills with the ability to interpret and follow written directions, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsBasic math skills to meet technical specifications and measurementsExperience/Education:High School Diploma or equivalent1-2 years of experience in wiring or testing electrical components OR completion of a technical vocational programPhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time.Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components.Must wear PPE, such as gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, and ear protection, while working on the production floor
