IT SAP EHS Functional Analyst, Expert Pacific Gas and Electric Company Location:

Position SummaryThe IT SAP EHS Functional Analyst, Expert is responsible for the development of IT solutions for PG&E Health and Safety functions and is well versed with all phases of the software lifecycle, including business process analysis, systems analysis, business process blueprinting, configuration, development, testing, cut-over preparation, end user training, and go-live activities as well as post go-live system and end user support. He or she is also well versed in different software development methodologies including, but not limited to, Waterfall, Agile and / or SAFe, SAP ACTIVATE methodology.
The IT SAP EHS Functional Analyst Expert works with the team of functional, technical experts and consultants responsible for developing/enhancing SAP modules and other applications required to support PG&E business systems. He or she provides subject matter expertise for SAP Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S), to assure that best practices are implemented, and the modules/applications are efficiently and effectively used to realize business value.
This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and the Oakland General Office (OGO) three days a week.
PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity.
A reasonable salary range is:
Bay Area Minimum: $122,000
Bay Area Maximum: $194,000
Responsibilities
Provide expert consulting in SAP ERP Systems to the client and senior IT leadership to identify and satisfy the business needs.
Responsible for solution design and implementation involving SAP Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S).
Expected to be the SAP functional lead on one or more projects, reviewing deliverables by SAP consultants, accountable for SAP delivery on assigned projects.
Analyze end-to-end complex business processes and information needs of the clients in one or more business functional areas (may include external entities).
Partner with business team, technical analysts, architecture and strategy organizations to develop strategies and plans to integrate SAP to total solution.
Evaluate and document alternatives that will provide the most effective solutions to complex business problems.
Responsible for SAP RICEFW (Report, Interface, Conversion, Enhancements, Forms and workflow) objects development in work management area for projects, enhancements and production support.
Responsible to prepare requirements document, As-Is, To-Be processes and identify gaps.
Design system processes to bridge the gap, build prototypes, prepare functional specifications, prepare test plan and test scripts.
Perform unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, support user acceptance testing (UAT) and obtain business sign-off.
Provide SAP subject matter expertise to PG&E functional areas and ensure best practices are adapted.
Responsible for overall SAP solution and SAP interfaces to other SAP and non-SAP systems.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
BA/BS in Computer Science/ Information Systems, Business, Engineering, etc. or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 7 years of designing, configuring and developing complex solutions using SAP Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) modules.
Proficient in writing requirements document, functional specifications and preparing business process flows.
Experience with designing new enhancement, reports and interfaces with non-SAP systems.
Strong understanding of ERP interrelationships and dependencies of related modules and systems.
Desired Qualifications
SAP S/4 EH&S implementation and / or support experience.
Experience in SAP EH&S Cloud solutions for e.g. SAP EHS workplace and SAP Asset Manager (SAM) and / or SAP Field Service Management (FSM).
Utility Health and Safety experience.
Demonstrates familiarity in the following areas: SOX compliance, regulatory compliance, operational / disaster recovery.
SAP EH&S certification is preferred (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate - Environment, Health, and Safety with SAP ERP 6.0 EHP7).
Experience with SAP S/4HANA and integration with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP EAM, SAP MM, SAP HCM) is highly desirable.
Demonstrates understanding of SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), SAP Finance (FICO), SAP Human Capital Management (HCM), Success Factors, SAP Portfolio and Project Management (PPM) SAP Project Systems (PS).
