We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team at an established insurance brokerage. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and enhancing our business processes, ensuring the effective integration of technology solutions to improve operational efficiency and support strategic initiatives.
How You Will Contribute
Interpret and comprehend the products and project objectives
Participate in meetings with Business and/or Finance Leaders and Project Team where evaluation of system revisions are being discussed
Support for rollout of new systems and workflows, including coordinating with all functional departments as applicable
Identify and propose changes to systems and workflows based on areas in which are deemed inefficient, ineffective, costly to run, or time sensitive
Lead facilitated sessions with business users to identify system enhancements.
Document and gain sign-off on business requirements
Track project progress through project schedules, project reports, meeting agendas and minutes, and other reporting mechanisms
Communicate with project team members and external customers and/or vendors to ensure that critical information is shared and that projects are on track
Assist in organization of release dates for all version updates with vendor systems and business units
Create training material and train end users on systems enhancements and new programs
Analyze results and create or maintain documentation in accordance with established procedures
Test the installation of new version releases and updates
Provide feedback to Director of Financial Projects, Project Manager, and applicable Business and Finance Leaders regarding product performance and testing issues
Assist in the testing of other projects as needed
Skills & Experience to Be Successful
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or 3 to 7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Requires excellent verbal and writing skills as well as strong math skills and a familiarity with accounting and financial principles.
Basic understanding of managing full life cycle software development projects using structured project management processes
Basic understanding of programming languages and concepts
Demonstrated technical expertise in systems analysis and design

Pay Range
$80,000 - $105,000 Annual
The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
