The role you’ll contribute:
The High-Reliability Culture Architect is a qualified individual who, under the Manager and Directors general direction, is responsible for using a consistent change management approach to drive the strategic priorities of high-reliability, just culture, and patient safety initiatives. May work independently and with key stakeholders to ensure the execution and implementation of High-Reliability work.
The High-Reliability Culture Architect's primary role includes but is not limited to; a comprehensive understanding and application of the High-Reliability Principles, the Framework for High Reliability in Healthcare, and Performance Improvement as they relate to establishing a High-Reliability Organization, patient safety initiatives, and fostering a Just Culture. Collaborating in the development, training, monitoring, and evaluation of the High-Reliability Culture Program (HRCP). Mentor leaders to facilitate skills, behaviors, and activities related to effective management and leadership, learning and improvement, and creating and maintaining cultural health across AdventHealth.

Streamline processes to align with the High-Reliability Framework domains of Leadership, Culture, Knowledge, and Learning Systems for AdventHealth.
Innovates and collaborates in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of High-Reliability training and the High-Reliability Culture Program.
Works with the operational team to implement the framework for high-reliability healthcare in work units throughout the organization.
Influence AdventHealth HRO facilitators, leadership (executive, senior, mid-level, risk, and quality), and frontline staff to facilitate understanding of the vital role they play in creating a Just Culture to achieve high reliability.
Supports clinical program development for each segment of the High-Reliability Culture program; this includes standardization of Safety Huddles and implementation of digital learning boards.
Supports development and deployment of training materials for the High-Reliability Culture program.
Mentors and supports the training of AdventHealth facility leaders and staff on Digital Learning Boards (DLB), High-Reliability Culture, High-Reliability Organization (HRO) concepts, and process improvement.
Responsible for effectively collaborating and communicating with AdventHealth facility leaders to ensure support is provided for local implementation and evaluation of the program.
Collaborates with the High-Reliability Culture team to develop, deploy and evaluate the High-Reliability Culture model that effectively promotes a High-Reliability Organization.
Responsible for identifying and assessing areas of opportunity within each market and making recommendations for improvement.
Identifies best practices and shares across the AdventHealth care continuum.
Supports communication, coaching, mentoring, managing, and leadership of High-Reliability Culture partners.
Collaborates with Clinical and Corporate Analytics, AIT, and Performance Improvement teams on High-Reliability Culture program data analysis and Performance Improvement projects.
Relationship building and networking with other departments across AdventHealth to collaborate and further the work of High-Reliability and Just Culture.
Apply change management principles for successful High-Reliability Culture participation and achievement of initiatives at AdventHealth facilities.
Develop evidence-based presentation.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Bachelor’s degree in nursing or allied health-related field.
5 years in a healthcare organization.
2 years of healthcare leadership experience.
2 years of Process Improvement or Change Management experience.
Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
Experience in presenting before an audience and adapting their communication style to the audience.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
Nursing or Allied Health Professional License.
And ONE of the following certifications:
CPPS or CPHQ (or equivalent).
Change Management Certification.
Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree.
Prior experience in Risk, Quality, and Safety.
Prior experience in High Reliability.
Prior experience in Project Management.
