We’ll encourage you to explore diverse opportunities to find your focus and thrive in your chosen career.Your role.Your work will include, but not be limited to:Applying your understanding of audit theories and procedures on client engagements to perform and review audit procedures on assigned audit areas, and identify and resolve client audit issues.Reviewing staff work product while providing constructive feedback and identifying staff developmental needs.Building and maintaining client relationships and proactively interacting to gather information, resolve audit-related issues, and make recommendations for business and process improvements.Assisting partners and principals in developing ideas to help clients with operational and control enhancements, client presentations, and practice development opportunities.Developing and executing a practice development plan which includes networking, new client development, and client expansion activities.The qualifications.6+ years of audit experience in public accounting; specializing with clients in the financial services industries.Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.CPA required.Successful experience supervising and mentoring staff on engagements.Experience managing client relationships/engagements.Experience with public companies and audits of internal control over financial reporting preferred, but not required.Qualified individuals must either reside in or near Cleveland, Columbus, or Cincinnati, Ohio or be willing to relocate to one of these areas for this opportunity. Periodic travel throughout the region with limited overnight travel is required.Position may be filled as a Manager or Senior Manager based on applicable experience.Plante Moran is committed to a diverse workplace.
