Position SummaryWhat you'll do...About The TeamWe are responsible for the development of Walmart's strategic Luminate product line to revolutionize the retail industry. Harnessing the power of data science, we at Walmart Luminate build mobile applications & the backend technology that enable brands to have access to rich customer insights to fuel smarter decision making to better serve customers. Our team builds highly scalable, cloud-native platforms & applications with resiliency at its core. Our platform has very diverse capabilities - from highly optimized real-time algorithms to integrations with data foundation systems. Our tech stack is a combination of React Native, React.js, Angular, .Net microservices, Kafka, SQL, Cosmos, MongoDB, Azure, CI/CD pipelines and much more.What You'll DoHelp define Mobile Development and React Native best practicesSupport business objectives by collaborating with business partners to identify opportunities and drive resolution; partnering with business to define priorities and user acceptance criteriaIdentify short- and long-term solutions; and lead cross-functional partnerships.Be a key contributor in understanding/building mobile applications with React Native and should be able to guide the team.Continue to support team projects in mobile development technologies such as React Native, Android Studio, XCode or equivalent technologies.Demonstrate experience with Agile methodologies.What You'll BringProficient in React Native App Development, including experience with HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, Jest, Redux, NodeJS, JSON, Swift/Objective-C, Kotlin/Java, Android Studio, and XCodeProficient understanding of mobile development lifecycleProficient with designing, building, and consuming APIsProficient with event-driven architectureExperience with Cloud Technologies like Azure and GCPExtensive knowledge of open-source libraries, design patterns and micro-service architecture.
