Learn what makes QTS a unique place to grow your career!As a Smartsheet Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and maintaining data within the Smartsheet platform to drive business decisions and optimize workflows. Your primary responsibility will be to gather, cleanse, and transform data from various sources, creating insightful reports and dashboards which will be instrumental in driving efficiency and empowering teams to make data-driven decisions. This role requires a keen eye for detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design effective solutions within Smartsheet.Extract and import data from various sources into Smartsheet, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.Manipulate, cleanse, and transform data to create meaningful insights and actionable information.Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to present data in a clear and understandable manner.Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement.Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security by implementing proper access controls and data validation procedures.Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure business performance against defined goals.Design, create, and maintain Smartsheet databases that align with business requirements and processes.Monitor and optimize database performance, identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime and improve system efficiency.Develop and maintain documentation related to database architecture, processes, and standard operating procedures.Provide training and support to end-users on Smartsheet functionalities, best practices, and data management techniques.Stay informed about the latest Smartsheet features and updates to propose innovative solutions and continuous improvement.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field or equivalent professional experience.Three or more years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role, with a focus on data analysis and visualization.Proficiency using Excel, Smartsheet, or similar data analysis/reporting tool to manage and analyze data.US Citizenship for this position is required by law due to federal customer contract.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Two or more years of experience working with Smartsheet.Prior experience working with business intelligence tools, specifically PowerBI.Familiarity with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.Relevant certifications in data analysis, business intelligence, or Smartsheet.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
