Delmock Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain advanced data visualization solutions using Microsoft Power BI. This role involves creating complex reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights and support business decision-making. The developer will work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements, build data models, and ensure data accuracy and performance.Responsibilities:Develops requirements for information systems from a project’s inception to conclusion.Develops required specifications for moderately and highly complex systems.Leads other team members in preparing input and test data for the proposed system.Provides technical and administrative direction for personnel performing software development tasks.Design and build complex Power BI reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights for business decision-making.Create and optimize data models to support high-performance data visualizations, ensuring accurate representation of business metrics.Write and optimize advanced DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) queries and calculations to create dynamic and scalable measures.Utilize Power Query for data transformation, cleansing, and integration from multiple sources.Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and end users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Connect Power BI with multiple data sources such as Oracle and SQL databases, Azure Data Lakes, Excel, and APIs.Ensure optimal performance of Power BI reports and dashboards by tuning queries, improving data models, and using best practices for efficiency.Implement row-level security (RLS) and other security measures within Power BI to ensure appropriate access controls.Administer the Power BI service, including user access, workspace management, and monitoring report usage.Set up and manage scheduled data refreshes for live dashboards and reports.Identify and resolve issues related to data inconsistencies, performance bottlenecks, and report accuracy.Provide training and support to end-users to maximize adoption and effective usage of Power BI reports.Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data models, report designs, and Power BI environments.Implement version control and change management processes for Power BI reports and models.Keep up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and best practices and apply them to enhance reporting and analytics.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related scientific or technical field and six (6) years minimum of relevant experience.Must possess security certifications and/or Database Administrator certifications.In-Depth Knowledge of the Incident Response life-cycle and the ability to work independently to investigate and effectively respond to cyber security incidents.Strong understanding and experience in Azure cloud.3+ years of experience designing and implementing data solutions and dashboard development.Demonstrated experience working on large-scale data projects in diverse team environments with a focus on analytics, business intelligence, and enterprise systems.Extensive experience with data modeling and database design, particularly for Oracle-based applications and BI platforms.Proficiency in Oracle Analytics, Microsoft Power BI, and BI Publisher, both as a developer and administrator.Strong knowledge of BI platforms, including dashboard development, data visualization, report generation, and system administration for Oracle Analytics, Power BI, and BI Publisher.Deep understanding of database design principles, SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle database management systems, including performance optimization and troubleshooting.Ability to create complex reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to meet business needs.Experience developing real-time analytics solutions for utility businesses.Familiarity with data governance frameworks, ensuring data integrity, quality, and security within an enterprise context.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, especially when working with large, complex datasets.Preferred/Nice to Have Skills:
Preferred to have experience in water and waste water industry and understanding of utility applications.Clearance:
