As a JIRA Developer, you play a pivotal role in an application’s functional life. From troubleshooting to fixing bugs, you use your operations and maintenance skills to ensure that things run smoothly. We’re looking for a JIRA Developer like you to apply your knowledge to our government clients’ challenges and their legacy enterprise systems.As a JIRA Developer at Booz Allen, you’ll have an operational impact from day one. Supporting a team of professionals, you’ll maintain applications and keep systems working. You’ll use programming and scripting languages as you continuously enhance and maintain the applications, troubleshoot any issues that arise operationally, and upgrade the systems to meet security requirements.Most importantly, you’ll strengthen your skills as you advise our government clients on the best ways to improve and modernize the existing systems. Work with us to help us secure crucial systems while watching them grow and modernize.You Have:
3+ years of experience developing with Python, Groovy, HTML, Java, .NET or shell Scripting2+ years of experience with Jira product Administration and Jira Service Desk configuration, maintaining, and supporting workflow schemes, permission schemes, notification schemes, or screen schemes2+ years of experience with JIRA Development and testing integrations between JIRA and other 3rd-party using JIRA REST APIExperience with managing JIRA and related product updates and patchingAbility to monitor JIRA system operations, including security procedures and liaison with infrastructure, security, DevOps, data, and application teamsAbility to adhere to stringent security, change and configuration management procedures, and policiesSecret clearanceBachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or MathematicsNice If You Have:
Experience working with Atlassian support and support organizations of the product plug-insExperience with using GitLab in a development environmentKnowledge of PostgreSQL Database ConceptsKnowledge of AWS cloud services and configurationsAbility to provide remote after-hours support in an on-call capacityAbility to exhibit a customer-centric perspective, aligned with leading commercial-level service desk supportPossess strong analytical skills, able to understand abstract functionalities from specificationsTop Secret clearanceIAT-II Certification, including Security+Clearance:
