Onsite (Lithia, FL) Hybrid scheduleThe Senior HR Data Analyst will help to deliver and scale people analytics solutions to business challenges across the enterprise that create value for HR and the business. Client drivers will be the business strategy, stakeholder challenges, and the HR strategy. This role will provide client consultation across HR, cross-functional collaboration, and adoption of leading people analytics technology, in addition to optimizing core HR, analytics, and dashboarding capabilities for HR measurement and analytics solutions and services. In addition, this role will be responsible for adhering to and championing strong HR data governance including, but not limited to, data quality, data stewardship, data protection and compliance, and data management.What will you do?
HR/People Measurement, Strategy, Solutions and Services, ROI, and Value Realization
Data metrics for the tracking of value sustainment in delivery of strategic initiatives, using HR technology and other analytics technology solutions to drive action to the user.Proactively identify analytical opportunities to answer business questions and drive action through clear actionable insights and storytelling.Consult within clients to translate business objectives and analytical needs into repeatable analytical solutions. Identify data analytics requirement with business stakeholders. Challenge the business and provide a forward-thinking approach to data analytics to drive value.Create accurate, sustainable statistical algorithms and machine learning processes that support HR business processes, tools, or products.Conduct in-depth analysis which may include identifying drivers of employee engagement, forecasting aggregated employee movements and actions, forecasting, and analyzing cost of labor, programs, and return on investments.Build, integrate and/or work with large and complex data sets and measures to be used in analyses that drive business decisions. Effectively utilize critical data sources for analytics and reporting purposes.Deliver easy to understand and actionable insights, translating complex concepts through effective data visualizations and data-driven storytelling.May work cross-functionally to correlate financial analysis including Return on Investment, Return on Expectations, Break-even Analysis, Program Evaluation, and forecasting of labor spend.HR/People Data Stewardship
Establish/maintain HR data governance. Ensure all measurement and analytics solutions protect employee data, comply with country laws and end users understand imperatives around data privacy. Consult with the Compliance department when requirements fall outside of established data stewardship.Establish / maintain an HR data democratization road map for the ingestion critical data/source system. Work towards a foundation of thoughtful data management processes and cross-system transparency with HR maintaining data stewardship with considerations for the end user, assuring that those with access know what it means and how to use it strategically.As HR data steward, coordinate on data governance and security with IT including storage, access control, data management, data quality, change control.Maintain knowledge of broader enterprise analytics technology stacks. Apply this knowledge in assisting HR, business units and functions in defining data analytics requirements that involve employee data.Training and Awareness
Provide training and awareness on analytics solutions.In coordination with Compliance, develop and provide training on data privacy.Other training under organizational change management that supports adoption and advancement of people analytics within HR and the business.Other job duties and projects as assigned. Project Management duties will include managing project timelines and providing regular status updates to Business Data Owners.What do you need for this role?
Bachelor's degree with a preference in Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.5 years of proven expertise in advanced data analytics and data sourcing.5+ years of experience implementing advanced data visualizations that are clear, visually immersive, and interactive for a wide variety of business audiences including executives, operational managers and customer facing teams.Exceptional storytelling / presentation-building skills, including the ability to translate complex statistical concepts into simple and actionable insights.Broad scope knowledge of data architecture, HR and analytics technology, tools, processes, and procedures, as well as enterprise technology.Strong knowledge of statistics and research methods including forecasting and model building (e.g., Cluster Analysis, PCA, Regression, Decision Trees/Random Forests, Structural Equation Modeling).Experience with data governance frameworks, organizational management of data quality, security, accessibility, alignment, and value.Data governance experience within Human Resources preferred.Strong verbal, written, listening and presentation communication skills.Ability to present and discuss technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.Ability to collaborate with employees at all levels of the organization.Ability to work with employees in various geographies.Ability to adapt to a continually changing business and work environment and manage multiple priorities.Demonstrated critical thinking and decision-making skills.Continuous improvement mindset.Self-motivated, highly professional and results oriented.Depth of domain experience in multiple areas of Human Resources preferred.Demonstrated proficiency in analytics technology platforms.Advanced user in Microsoft 365.Experience with data lakes, data warehouses.Demonstrated proficiency or certification for with database/statistical languages such as R, Python, and SQL analytics or software such as BI or Dataiku.Preferred
Workday HCM and People Analytics landscape experience.Proficient experience in querying and reporting from relational databases, Azure data lake and PI.Azure.PowerBI.Power Apps.SQL Server.
