Your Impact:
The mission of the Lone Wolf Team is to support, operate, and maintain the Distributed Continuity Integrated Network – Top Secret Enterprise Services (DCIN-TS ES). The DCIN-TS ES is a DoD provided, TS/SCI, integrated voice, video, and data, global communications network that facilitates collaboration among senior leaders and key staff.
Candidates are expected to have a strong work ethic and possess the ability to work as a critical member of a team in pursuit of mission objectives and in support of our customers. We value candidates who are detail-oriented while also being able to think and react quickly to emerging and unique problem sets. To be successful in this role, you’ll be able to rapidly adapt and learn how to operate the front and back end of new products and processes.
Responsibilities:
Organizes and directs the configuration and operation of information management systems over mobile platforms.
Assist with the integration of network and hardware infrastructure including the planning, design, installation, maintenance, and management of the enterprise LAN/WAN, with a focus on Mobile (Fly-Away) products.
Possesses comprehensive knowledge of the organization’s hardware, software, and network components in addition to knowledge of programming languages and operating systems, current equipment and technologies in use, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring tools.
Provides the day-to-day system administration to include system and resource optimization, and user assistance.
Increases system administrator efficiency and accuracy via the use of automated tools and scripts, develops system administrator procedures, and conducts system administrator training and skills assessment.
Plans, organizes, and documents complex system design activities and configure systems to be consistent with the government policies and procedures.
Identify and diagnose complex performance, security, and technical issues.
Familiarity with modern technological developments and applications to assist in the evaluation of new products and to make recommendations for purchase.
Windows and Citrix VDI server or desktop administration / maintenance / end-user support.
Familiarity with the following technologies: Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Cisco IOS, SolarWinds, Nessus, Citrix, Service Now, and Remedy.
Operating system deployment and imaging via MECM, client application installation, roaming profiles, troubleshooting and peripheral support.
Experience with installation and configuration of enterprise network and systems infrastructure devices, cabling, and operational best practices.
Strong Windows OS remote desktop administration skills.
Here’s what you’ll need:
Clearance Required:
Must have active Top-Secret clearance with SCI.
Minimum Education:
Experience developing IT checklists, SOPs, guides, etc.
Proactive self-starter demonstrating a positive, willing attitude and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, and Outlook.
Minimum Years of Experience:
Must have at least 10 years of relevant experience.
Preferred:
Current DODD 8140/8570 IAT Level 2 certification (or higher) required (such as CCNA Security, Security+ CE, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP).
Experience with at least one project management methodology (Agile, ITIL, etc.).
Working knowledge of IT infrastructure.
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Expert on use of MS products.
Requires travel (about 10-25%) primarily throughout the National Capital Region; Other travel locations may be required as well.
