Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of systems administration (or related) experience, including Windows and Linux network admin; will consider 15+ years of experience without a degreeSAS requires a CITE Facility Administrator to execute spanning five key disciplines:Network ManagementNetwork Design/ArchitectureNetwork Systems EngineeringNetwork Installation/MaintenanceInformation Systems Security EngineeringSAS requires experienced Network Managers/Administrators with Radio Frequency systems and components familiarity who are capable of reliably executing the following responsibilities:Consult and coordinate with external organizations to resolve network, system, server, or other development and test infrastructure issuesIdentify and select IT products, tools, services, and infrastructure components for development systemsStrategize/design/select architectures and procedures required to solve complex infrastructure problemsDevelop/contribute to/evaluate technical proposals for changes to CITE facility networksInstall and customize as necessary HW and/or SW components into development and test infrastructure computer systems and networksMaintain computer system and network HW or SW, including UPS networkManage, monitor, and control networksTroubleshoot networks, computers, and peripheral devices to isolate causes of failures/issuesConduct site surveys for IT installationsValidate testing and quality assurance of development and test infrastructure systemsAnalyze infrastructure problems to determine technical solutionsIdentify new and existing products, technologies, and/or architectures to solve design, development, and test problemsPerform high-level design, specifying system and component performance and interface requirementsTranslate conceptual designs into technical specificationsInstall, test, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, configure, and improve development and test infrastructure equipmentPerform all life cycle support: HW, SW, firmware, and configuration upgrades or modifications to currently installed development and test infrastructure equipmentEffect repair and modification of HW components to include micro-soldering to replace components, repair traces to keep systems/devices in operating condition, and facilitate reverse engineering effortsSpecialized Skills Required:
