Description
Duties/Responsibilities:Receive, review, forward and track status of submittalsInitiate, prepare, review, track and distribute RFIsAssist in management of project permit processTrack and inspect material deliveriesHiring and recommend termination of subcontracts/vendors including negotiations, sub agreements, material agreements and PO’sManagement of Subcontractors and vendors schedule, performance, and payments, including the exercise of decision-making to reschedule and/or re-coordinate work to ensure compliance with applicable project scheduleEnsure compliance with Small Business requirementsComplete understanding of the Contract including HPA’s contractual obligations and the Owner’s obligationsDevelop and maintain site logistics plan with Superintendent staffEnsure timely notices as required to the Owner to protect HPA interest regarding extra work, design changes, delays, impact, etc. which requires independent contract analysisEnsure project delivers a quality product meeting HPA’s high quality standardsQualifications:BS in Engineering or Construction ManagementThree (3) to Four (4) years working as Project Engineer in the Pump Station Construction or Heavy Civil Construction industryEstimating skills a plusFamiliar with grading, drainage, paving (asphalt and concrete), bridge construction, retaining walls, plumbing, electrical and mechanical and all other pump station construction scopesStrong prioritization and organizational skills; detail-orientedExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong working knowledge of Excel and WordE-Builder, eCMS and/or RMS experience is preferredProcore experience is preferredBluebeam experience is preferredAutodesk Revit experience is preferred
