Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is seeking Cyber Software Engineers to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals at our Cincinnati, Ohio location. The NGMS Cincinnati team develops new capabilities for our military, intelligence, and other government customers. We solve complex problems developing cyber hardware and software solutions.Essential Functions:Team Lead of 3-6 EngineersDraft and lead taskingManage timelines to ensure development deadlinesLead code reviewsPoint of Contact for team questions and spinning up new engineersKernel Mode (Windows, Linux) programming (C/C++, Assembly)Reverse Engineering (x86, x64, MIPS, PPC, or ARM)Vulnerability AnalysisCommunications Engineer:Network Programming (C/C++)Network protocols TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, SSL, etc.This position can be filled at the Principal Engineer or Sr. Principal Engineer level.Basic Qualifications Principal Engineer:B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and 4 years of relevant work experience OR M.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and 2 years of relevant work experience OR Ph.D and 0 years of relevant work experience.Technical leadership experience of small (3+) teams of engineersExperience in software development to include any of the following: kernel mode, embedded, command and control, web applications, network applications.Active Top Secret security clearanceFamiliarity with Assembly Languages (x86, x64, MIPS, PPC, or ARM)Experience in Reverse Engineering / Vulnerability ResearchExperience with Networking and Network HardwareBasic Qualifications Sr. Principal Engineer:B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and 8 years of relevant work experience OR M.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and 6 years of relevant work experience OR Ph.D and 4 years of relevant work experience.Technical leadership experience of small (3+) teams of engineersExperience in software development to include any of the following: kernel mode, embedded, command and control, web applications, network applications.Active Top Secret security clearanceFamiliarity with Assembly Languages (x86, x64, MIPS, PPC, or ARM)Experience in Reverse Engineering / Vulnerability ResearchExperience with Networking and Network HardwarePreferred Qualifications:Advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fieldExperience with SDLC (software development life cycle)Experience developing software for multiple operating system environments.Experience with virtual machine technologyOS Internals experienceDevelopment of lower-level networking protocols such as TCP/IP and UDPFamiliarity with git source control tools and automated build system workflowsExperience with the Agile methodologySalary Range:

$107,300 - $160,900Salary Range 2:

$133,000 - $199,600The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
