Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Security Specialist with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 + month contract position.
Responsibilities:
Risk and Regulatory Management, Information Security Generalist Skills, Information Security ManagementManage mid-range systems and infrastructureCommunicate and provide capacity executive summaries to our partners and stakeholdersProvide data analytics and capacity forecast modelsUnderstand hardware Infrastructure, architecture and disaster recoveryIT Service Management (ITSM)Advise on system and application performance improvements with other partners and stakeholdersParticipate in multiple projects and have a specific set of deliverables around Performance and CapacityReview technical project documentation in an effort to identify performance and capacity impacts to the infrastructureProvide support and consulting for the project(s) in questionWork with other support teams to collectively provide forecasts and models for performance and capacity of impacted componentsReview saturation test results and artifacts (e.g., AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Splunk, SAR/vmstat, application logs and Performance Center results) to measure and interpret capacity thresholds/limitsSupport capacity related BAU activities associated to audit requirementFoster a culture of support and knowledge sharing
Requirements:
3+ years of IT Capacity ManagementITSMAppDynamics/DynatraceSplunkOperating System Performance Measurement Tools (SAR/PerfMon)True Sight Capacity OptimizerAgile Framework - Jira/ConfluenceDemonstrated knowledge of capacity planning methodologiesDemonstrated knowledge of mathematical/statistical and quantitative analyticsDemonstrated knowledge of ITIL capacity management best practices COBIT frameworkInfrastructure architecture
Desired skills:
Understanding of Agile methodologies, Splunk data mining expertise, and demand data/BVI concepts
Pay Range:
$67.36 - $75.36
