a Leading-Edge Government contractor, is seeking applicants for a Senior Software Developer position to join a diverse, multi-disciplined team at Fort Sill in the Lawton, Oklahoma area. With several offices across the Unites States engaging in the defense, cyber, and commercial fields, OASYS, INC. provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific, and IT solutions.

Position Description:

The Senior Software Developer will help lead a S/W team in writing software code for models and simulations and perform vulnerability research of radio frequency (RF) / network protocols, software, and hardware technology used in customer systems. Candidate will also assist in the development of novel Cybersecurity and Electro-Magnetic Activities (CEMA) training and simulations systems for military weapon systems. Candidate will work in a team of developers, engineers, and analysts to address growing concerns of cyber security in highly networked weapon systems.

Primary Responsibilities:

Help lead a team working on customer-sponsored research and development projects developing defensive cyber security solutions for military weapon systems.

Develop simulations to emulate threat realistic CEMA environments.

Development of offensive and defensive cyber tools focused on Command and Control (C2) and Radar systems.

Vulnerability discovery and exploit development of operating systems, open source and proprietary network protocols, and user space applications.

Research current and future cyber security threats against military systems.

Minimum Requirements:

10+ years of professional experience with software development is preferred

S/W Engineering Development Life Cycle experience

Significant programming ability in C++, Python, and/or other equivalent languages

Experience leading/mentoring a technical development team

Experience with Agile process for code development

Dedication to adhering to best coding practices and techniques

Willingness to travel approx. 10% each year if necessary (typically within the Continental United States)

Desired (but not required) Qualifications:

Experience with RUST

Familiarity with Linux/POSIX platforms

Familiarity with fundamental networking implementations and concepts, including basic LAN and WAN networking skills

Familiarity with virtualization and containerization technologies

Familiarity with the following tools, concepts, and products are a plus:

Ubuntu, Red Hat, similar Linux Distributions

Networking Protocols

Software Reverse Engineering tools (Ida Pro, Ghidra, Boofuzz, Frida)

Wireshark

Kali Linux proficiency

Scanning/Analysis Tools (nmap, nikto, etc)

Exploitation Tools (Metasploit, Cobalt Strike, etc)

Required Education:

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or other STEM discipline; however, years of experience may be substituted for a degree.

Eligibility:

Candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Clearance. An Active Clearance is highly desired.
