As an Application Systems Engineer you will be responsible for administering and configuring authentication flows and a variety of other mission-critical experiences on various technology platforms for our users.The successful candidate will have the skills and experience to effectively participate with cross-functional teams and customers in collaborative design and development activities dealing with complex applications and challenges. The Application Systems Engineer will be detail-oriented, focused on delivering high-quality deliverables, have a passion for the field of application services and possess empathy with a drive to create outstanding experiences and improved solutions for our users.This individual will:Collaborate with team members and leadership to provide excellent customer and peer experiences on technologies you help support.Create templates and components within various third-party solutions/platforms and implement to accomplish business objectives.Adhere to ITSM best practices (e.g., Change, Incident, Knowledge, etc.)Document, demo and showcase features to stakeholders and/or customers.Document business process, application, and data flows.Research, analyze and recommend technology configuration, functionality, and administration solutions for our various digital solutions.Participate in Agile ceremonies and methodologies.Define and participate in SDLC activities.Document applications, perform security assessments/reviews, define and participate in user governance and administration.Stay current on industry and development latest trends and technologies.Experience with public, private, and/or hybrid cloud implementations.Understanding of OATH2 authentication flows a plus.ServiceNow, or similar system administration experience a plus.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:6+ years of experience with JSON, YAML or other popular data exchange format.6+ years of experience administering applications (e.g., incident response, change requests, user administration, configuration, etc.).Effective communication and documentation skills (e.g., BPMN).Working knowledge of GitHub.Candidates with in-depth understanding of authentication best practices is preferred.Requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems or a related field. A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.Pay Range:$90,000 - $120,000 (Based upon relatable skills/experience).Location:This position requires regular face-to-face interaction with teams, business stakeholders, and executives in Salt Lake City, Utah.
