If you are driven to create a better, more sustainable future, then this is the right place for you.Lucid Motors is searching for a Sr. Network Engineer for its Casa Grande area facilities who can oversee the implementation of equipment, maintain each component of the network, and troubleshoot issues. The network engineer will be responsible for monitoring the network firewall, assessing the functionality of the network routers, ensuring all internet security software is updated regularly and maintaining the company phone and video conferencing systems.DUTIES
Support the development of industrial network standards.Work with the team on establishing network design principles, practices, implementations, documentation, and maintenance procedures.Support the execution, deployment, and integration of industrial networks in the plant to include all network-related hardware and software.Ensure system uptime and backup for network-related equipment.Work closely with engineering to help report issues, lead project deliverables, and provide status and progress reports.Collaborate with network architects to design and implement functional company networks.Establish networking environment by installing, configuring, testing, and documenting the equipment/network systems according to the design and specifications.Lead the performance of day-to-day networking tasks to ensure network reliability, availability, and serviceability within minimal interruption.Support Network security team as required.Report status of projects during regular team meetings.Sustain the necessary data throughput rate by monitoring networking activity and maintaining existing equipment.Quickly respond and resolve incidents and requests.Initiate and complete technical activities related to product or process improvement. Prepare reports, publish, and make presentations to communicate findings.Maintain the company phone and video conferencing systems and work closely with the service provider to keep the lines active.Respond to network connectivity issues and resolve any wireless communication issues within the confines of the office.Collaborate with third-party support and service vendors to ensure that the network stays operational.Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness.Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field or relevant experience.10+ years’ experience as a network engineer in a fast-moving environment.Excellent knowledge of Service Desk, ITIL standards and its processes.IT infrastructure operations, IT service management or IT business operations experience.Hands-on experience with Cisco and Aruba devices.Well versed in Collaboration solutions & Wireless solutions.Technical knowledge of Cisco ISE endpoint solutions.Previous work experience with Cisco, Aruba and Zoom.Advanced knowledge of network operating systems including Cisco, NXOS and IOS.Familiarity with network analysis tools including SolarWinds, and Cisco DNA.Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.Business level fluency in English required, other language knowledge is a plus.Experience with the use of Network System Diagnostic programs and equipment like WireXpert, Cisco iOS, Net Scout, Wireshark, Spectrum Analyzer, Network loggers.Experience with analyzing data reports generated from diagnostic programs and equipment.Manufacturing Engineering and Information Technology experience with an emphasis on Network Communication Standards (802.11, EtherNet/IP, Profinet I/O, TCP/IP, QOS - Quality of Service).Familiar with TCP/IP, SNMP, switching and routing protocols.Familiar with Network Security protocols.Understanding of PLC communication and its effect on Ethernet networks.Strong analytical skills for interpreting business requirements and translating them into technical specifications.Problem-solving skills specific to Information Technology, network management and system designs.
