Cyber Solution Developer
in San Antonio, TX, or remote. This rewarding and challenging position supports the Department of Defense (DoD) to produce a wide range of capabilities to improve cyberspace operations and defend U.S. vital national security interests.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :Architect next-generation cyber security platforms with a focus on data plane layer design and implementationIncorporate Network Traffic Analysis (NTA), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM), Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR), and additional data analysis and enrichment capabilities into the data plane layerDesign Application Programming Interface (API) workflows and develop APIs for secure intercommunication of data plane layer technologiesArchitect operational workflows for data plane technologies to meet warfighter objectivesArchitect Kubernetes-based DevSecOps platforms and GitLab Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelinesPerform analysis of monolithic applications and system components and construct designs for modernizing and migrating applications and frontend/backend system code to a microservice-based architectureImplement CI/CD pipeline technology with integrated static, dynamic, and hardware-in-the-loop testingImplement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and Kubernetes Operators to deploy DevSecOps platforms and pipelines to on-prem and cloud (AWS) environmentsEnhance the cybersecurity and the code security process of the CI/CD pipeline and DevSecOps platformUtilize new and continuously hardened containers from Iron Bank or similar repositoryDevelop various backend/automated processes for the automation of the container packaging and artifact storageContinuously work with the customer to improve their processes and timeliness for Enterprise DevSecOps deploymentsTake self-initiative to remain knowledgeable and practiced in emerging DevSecOps technologies and trendsDemonstrated experience with container, orchestration, container platform, and service mesh technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and IstioDemonstrated experience with DevSecOps technologies such as GitLab, Jenkins, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Terraform, Helm, Nexus, Artifactory, Fortify, SonarQube, Twistlock, Grafana, etc.Demonstrated experience with Python and scripting languagesDemonstrated experience with database and data storage technologies such as Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Hadoop, Cloudera, Prometheus, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.Demonstrated experience with refactoring on-prem technologies and platforms into an AWS environmentDemonstrated experience with source control and code repository tools.Demonstrated experience developing solutions integrating and extending open source/GOTS/COTS applicationsPreferred qualifications:Kubernetes and/or AWS certificationFamiliarity with network security technologies such as Suricata, Arkime, Zeek, ICS MalcolmFamiliarity with the following endpoint security technologies: Elastic Endpoint Detection and Response, Microsoft DefenderFamiliarity with SIEM and SOAR technologies such as Elastic SIEM, Splunk, XSOAR, MixModeFamiliarity with DoD Enterprise DevSecOps Reference DesignSecurity clearance requirement:Active

is required to startPhysical requirements:Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the timeMust be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnelConstantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computerFor all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license.
