Virginia Beach, VA.YOU MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE TOP SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE AND BE SCI ELIGIBLE.Position Description:The Cyber Security Engineer, Special Technologies Engineering and Integration (STEI) for Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division, Dam Neck Activity (NSWCDD DNA) is part of Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD). NSWCDD DNA performs cutting-edge research and development, and warfare systems design and integration to ensure warfighter superiority. The NSWCDD DNA’s mission is to be a recognized R&D and Engineering National leader developing innovative, affordable and effective threat-driven integrated training systems, cyber warfare, Fleet readiness and sustainment solutions for the Naval Warfighter. It accomplishes this mission across three portfolios: Intelligence & Cyber Technology, Integrated Training Systems, and Combat Systems Readiness. In keeping with its mission, NSWCDD DNA has been designated the In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) for a collection of Carry-on Special Technologies Engineering and Integration (STEI) systems and special augmentation equipment, subsystems, components, and their associated peripherals and auxiliaries required for shipboard install and integration.Responsibilities and Duties:Support In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) for a collection of Carry-on Special Technologies Engineering and Integration (STEI) systems and special augmentation equipment, subsystems, components, and their associated peripherals and auxiliaries required for shipboard install and integration.Work with specialized teams to deliver specialized, unique products for time sensitive missions. These product efforts are often completed within 3-4 months, start to finish.Required Qualifications and Skills:Ten (10) years of full-time professional experience in the design, implementation, installation, configuration, maintenance, integration, and deployment of Carry-on Equipment (COE) systems to also include wireless and wired computer networks and devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.Three (3) years of full-time experience in demonstrated experience with remote COE dataflow configuration and management to include experience with data leveling data transformation and data ingestion protocols for compliance with national COE enterprise depositories.Three (3) years of professional experience in the following skillsets/disciplines:

Windows Active Directory Services/Primary Domain Controller (PDC)Windows configuration, administration and deploymentLinux configuration, administration and deploymentVirtual-Machine Deployment, i.e., VMWare/vSphereApache NiFiHardware and software configuration management (e.g. tracking bugs, enhancements, requirements, risks, test results, and tasks)System and Network Security related activities to include design, implementation, configuration and enforcement of security controls on network, hardware, and software components and devices.

Other Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, or CybersecurityCompTIA Security+ certificationSystems Administration Certification in Windows or Linux operating systemsMinimum Top-Secret Security ClearanceDesired Qualifications and Skills:Independent worker – requires little to no guidance for day-to-day workExperience with U.S. Navy or Army Logistics.Travel Requirements:Limited travel requirements (#J-18808-Ljbffr
