The position of Project Engineer involves structural analysis and design, computer modeling and calculations, client interaction, and collaboration with leading architects, planners, and engineers. You will work in a collaborative team environment on various building projects in a variety of market sectors, managing small to medium-sized projects.Duties

This is a diverse role and the duties include :Analysis of slab deflection, schematic design of columns placement, punching shear analysis, and load transfer for the typical slabsReview construction documents, such as columns reinforcement, shear walls reinforcement, slab reinforcement, foundation reinforcement, elevator system, and concrete mix designs shop drawingsEstimate various schematic designs of the structures like columns, footings, and shear wall placingProduction of official and unofficial sketches that were issued to the client to modify portions of the structure after submitting the structural packageProduction of sections, details, and specifications; using the software of Revit.Assisting site inspections such as concrete pours, formwork placement, foundation layout, slab and column reinforcement placementAttend coordination meetings weekly with the project team (owner, developer, architect, electrical engineer, and mechanical engineer)Production of sections, details, and specifications utilizing the software of RevitManage and modify submissions of projects such as Foundation Packages, Bulletins, and Issues for ConstructionQualifications

Minimum of 4 years experience in structural engineering with emphasis on building structuresBachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural engineering or a closely related fieldPE licenseKnowledge of building codes and standards such as IBC, ASCE, AISC, ACIExpertise with structural programs including RAM, ETABS, ADAPT, SAFE,.
