Job Summary:
A successful candidate will serve as an Enterprise Security Infrastructure Engineer on the NASA AEGIS contract. The role involves designing enterprise security infrastructure solutions, providing guidance, and supporting LAN and WAN engineers throughout NASA.
Responsibilities:
Develop detailed designs and deployment packages for security infrastructure supporting NASA centers.
Support the Agency VPN, Trusted Internet Connection (TIC) infrastructure, and firewalls across NASA.
Develop design packages for upgrading or refreshing security infrastructure at NASA centers.
Enforce target architectures to guide the evolution of NASA’s networks and ensure compliance with Federal security requirements.
Review and submit firewall policy requests to be implemented by an enterprise firewall operations team.
Engage in lab testing, coordinate requirements with other service lead engineers, and share results with all centers.
Required Skills:
Hands-on technical experience with security infrastructure such as firewalls, VPN, content filters, and web application firewalls.
Proficient in documenting detailed technical designs.
Excellent oral and written communication skills to present technical information to internal or external customers.
Comfortable working closely with customers and senior management.
Ability to multi-task and effectively balance competing priorities while producing quality deliverables.
Experience with Remote Access and IPsec VPNs.
Desired Skills:
Specific experience with Fortinet firewalls, Pulse Security Appliance (PSA), and Cisco ASA.
Additional experience with IPS/IDS, AWS cloud computing, WAF, campus LANs, WANs, and redundancy solutions.
Network and/or security certifications.

Pay: $77,435.00 - $80,544.00 per year
