Mujin is seeking a Cybersecurity Lead to join our dynamic team. The Cybersecurity Lead will leverage a deep understanding of compliance frameworks to ensure the organization meets relevant security and privacy standards. The ideal candidate will possess a mix of technical, regulatory, and consulting/advisory skills to effectively manage the cybersecurity function across the organization's global operations. The individual in this role will work closely with the head of cybersecurity and global IT leadership to cover the US and EU markets.
Responsibilities:
Assess the organization's current security tools/technologies and recommend and oversee the implementation of new security tools and solutions
Identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity risks to the organization
Develop and implement risk management strategies and policies
Ensure the organization follows best practices and standards for information security
Audit logs to ensure systems are being used appropriately
Develop and manage incident response plans, particularly for cybersecurity incidents like ransomware attacks
Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity and privacy regulations, such as GDPR and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
Maintain knowledge of evolving compliance requirements and adapt the organization's security practices accordingly
Adopt, localize, and implement global security policies and risk management program
Identify security requirements from regulatory compliance and Mujin’s customers
Maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders to ensure smooth program implementation and awareness of cybersecurity / risk management
Provide regular updates and reports on the organization's cybersecurity posture and initiatives
Requirements:
Position requires a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in computer science or related field
Minimum of three years of relevant experience as a cybersecurity specialist or engineer, which includes hands-on experience in real-world cybersecurity incidents and response
Knowledge of implementing ISO 27001/27002, SOC2, NIST, and GDPR security standards, including technical and procedural aspects
Knowledge of cybersecurity and privacy laws, including GDPR compliance
Understanding of HR security, legal agreements, and supplier assessments
Experience with Linux and Windows Server administration
Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance
Ability to conduct security assessments of business processes, suppliers, and new projects/products
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to travel as required by project demands to support cybersecurity efforts
Preferred:
Experience working at a Big 4 or other major consulting firm
Master’s degree in a relevant field and/or certifications (CISSP, CISM, PMP, ISO 27001) holder
