Locations: Jeannette, PATime Type: Full TimePosted On: 2 Days AgoJob Requisition ID: R2290Overview & Responsibilities:The role is responsible for auditing and overseeing various global EHS programs to ensure compliance with specific requirements. The position collaborates with key functions such as the medical office, human resources, and legal to improve and standardize health-related programs. Additionally, the role provides guidance to North America's Emergency Response Team programs, supports the global electronic incident management system, and serves as a key contact for Elliott's Learning Management System (LMS). This role also develops and coordinates regulatory and internal training materials, manages EHS-related communications, and supports workflow approval processes for EHS documentation.Responsibilities:Responsible to audit various global EHS programs by working with the global EHS organization on all facets of the program to ensure specific requirements set forth in the program are being met.Collaborates with other relevant functions, including the medical office, human resources, and legal, to identify opportunities for improvements and standardization of health-related programs and implement the program.Provides guidance and oversight of the Emergency Response Team programs across North America.Provides support to the medical office on the WC claims management process.Acts as backup support for the electronic incident management system used globally by EEE.Acts as the key contact in EHS for utilization of Elliott’s Learning Management System (LMS) and supports the global EHS managers in using the LMS.Develops regulatory and internal topic-specific training material in coordination with global EHS managers. Coordinates communication and delivery of training material to the global EHS organization. Identifies and tracks metrics for training, including opportunities to improve engagement and competency.Collaborates with the Global Communications group, Human Resources, and other internal stakeholders to develop and deploy EHS-related communications. Develops and globally deploys EHS Talks pertinent to recent events and/or seasons.Included in the workflow approval process for EHS SOPs/WIs submitted in the Business Management System (BMS).Understands legal notification requirements outlined in facility permits and state, federal, and local regulations.Acts as the liaison between EHS and supply chain to generate PO requisitions for various projects.Requirements:Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Health and Safety Science or related field (or equivalent relevant experience).5-7 years of EHS experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing or industrial environment.Experience with EHS management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001 or equivalent) desired.ASP, CSP, CIH, CHMM or equivalent certification desired.Remain actively engaged with continuing education relevant to this position in order to maintain certifications and to ensure awareness of regulatory changes and technical growth.Equal Employment OpportunityEbara Elliott Energy is an equal employment opportunity/affirmative action employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, marital status, genetic information, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by the federal, state or local laws of the United States.
