This position also provides strategic guidance, recommendations, solutions, principles, standards, and best practices within the Microsoft ecosystem including Microsoft 365 E5, Enterprise Mobility + Security E3, EntraID/Azure, and related technologies.Primary Functions and/or Responsibilities:Provides best-fit Cloud Architecture solutions; assists in defining scope and sizing work. Contributes to the long-term cloud strategy and vision by anticipating and identifying the Bank’s technology needs by collaborating with team members to design, plan, and implement the cloud strategy, placing emphasis on smooth transitions and maximum efficiencies.Employs deep technical knowledge to design, build, operate, and enhance the Bank’s Cloud architecture and design.Maintains detailed documentation of architecture designs, configurations, and processes.Owns and aggressively drives forward specific areas of technology and corresponding offerings. Provides architectural assessments, strategies, roadmaps, designs, solutions, and implementation as it pertains to the EntraID, M365 E5, and EMS E3.Provides expertise in Microsoft 365 components such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and related technologies.Provides ongoing support and maintenance for Microsoft 365 E5 environment, investigating and resolving complex technical issues, troubleshooting, and providing expert-level support to resolve critical incidents as they arise.Provides guidance and mentors Technology engineers in documentation, architectures, project plans, and technical drawings.Studies current industry cloud trends, technologies, and software to stay knowledgeable of general cloud technology landscape. Leverages this knowledge in providing directional options for Bankers Trust.Demonstrates broad solutions technical leadership, impacting significant technical direction, exerting influence outside of the immediate team and driving change.Implements robust security best practices and compliance measures. Stays up to date on M365 E5 security features and recommends improvements to enhance security posture.Performs other duties as assigned.Education and/or Experience:Four-year college degree in a related field preferred OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.4 – 6 years experience in Cloud Architecture.Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, computer engineering or relevant field.Certification or ability to attain one of the following technologies preferred: Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert.At least five years of experience with systems architecture in the industry.At least five years of experience as a Cloud Architect designing, developing, delivering, and operating cloud solutions with a focus on architecting and implementing Microsoft 365 solutions.Must have a thorough understanding of M365 E5 licensing.Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.In-depth knowledge of cloud security, governance, and compliance standards in a Microsoft 365 context.Experience with one or more of the following technologies is a plus: Microsoft Information Protection Aka Purview, Power Automate, Power Apps, and creating/maintaining SPO administration and support.Experience with SAML SSO configuration of Enterprise Applications preferred.Experience with Identity Governance, Conditional Access Policies, and Intune.Specific Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:Highly self-motivated and directed.Ability to envision, develop, prove, and recommend innovative solutions meeting current and future business requirements.Proven architectural consulting expertise, direction, and assistance to systems engineers, systems security engineers, and other architects.Proven success in consultative roles as well as leadership from within a team.Proven ability to build, foster, and maintain relationships with others.In-depth understanding across the breadth of the cloud technology industry.Ability to effectively present ideas to management.Adept at speaking in detail with the technical crowd and effectively communicating technical concepts to non-technical people.Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail.Hiring Salary Range:The hiring range below reflects

base salary. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s prior related experience & education and will be finalized at the time of offer. In addition to base salary, most positions are also eligible to participate in our annual bonus program. Select positions may also be eligible to earn incentives and/or commissions.
Hiring Salary Range:
