Senior IT Auditor

The Senior IT Auditor is a critical member of the Internal Audit team. They will have a growth mindset and be as enthusiastic about their development as they are about collaboratively improving risk management at Dollar Bank (the “Bank”). They will assist with developing, implementing, and coordinating the annual audit plan. The IT Senior Auditor also will conduct, and may supervise, internal audits and Sarbanes-Oxley Act Section 404 testing either independently or under the direction of an IT Audit Manager and/or IT VP, Associate Director. This position also provides on-the-job training and performance feedback, as applicable, to Staff Auditors.Principal Activities / Objectives:
Lead execution of audits and key initiatives as directed by Internal Audit management.Develop testing programs and document audit testing consistent with departmental standards and industry best practice.Provide Internal Audit and Bank management with timely communication of project status, potential findings, process efficiency or productivity improvements and/or cost reduction opportunities.Participate in the development and implementation of Computer Aided Auditing Techniques (CAAT), and data analysis to enhance risk management and increase audit efficiency.Assist in evaluating Staff Auditor performance to identify future training needs, as applicable.Maintain effective and professional working relationships with the bank staff in related audit areas.Facilitate teamwork by contributing to departmental initiatives.Remain current on emerging technologies, industry trends, and standard processes in IT auditing and cybersecurity.All employees have the responsibility and the accountability to serve as risk managers for their businesses by understanding, reporting, responding to, managing, and monitoring the risk they encounter daily as required by Dollar Bank’s risk management program. Compliance with regulatory laws and company procedures is a required component of all position descriptions.Minimum Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, accounting, or related field.A minimum of three (3) years of relevant IT audit or risk experience.A minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience.Preferred Qualifications:
Professional certification (e.g., CISA, CPA, CRISC, CISSP, CISM, GIAC).An understanding of and proficiency in applying IIA standards.Possess some knowledge and/or skills related to IT Frameworks such as CIS, COBIT, COSO, NIST.Proficiency in leading and performing risk-based integrated audits.Proficiency in the use of audit tools (TeamMate Plus, Audit Board, MS Office, etc.).Strong project management and analytical skills.Strong oral, written communication, and presentation skills.Excellent attention to detail and critical-thinking skills.
