You will work closely with product managers, UX designers, senior and peer-level software engineers to deliver complex products and features. You will own quality and deployment for your code. You will mentor junior team members to improve their skills and raise the bar on software development best practices. You are expected to think like an owner, driving the right solutions in terms of quality and breadth of functionality. The ideal candidate is a creative technology leader with both breadth and depth of relevant technologies. This opportunity requires excellent technical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Core to the role is to be able to innovate by defining solutions that can scale and deliver. Ideal candidates have extensive experience with agile methodologies, and show bias for action. You should be comfortable with a degree of ambiguity that’s higher than most projects and relish the idea of solving problems that haven’t been solved at scale before. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering teamPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
