is seeking to hire a
full-time Eligibility Worker
to work in our Weatherization Program. This position is responsible for determining client eligibility and maintaining compliance for the Weatherization and Crisis assistance applications in accordance with Federal, State, and Utah Community Action policies and procedures. As agency representatives, Weatherization staff are responsible for providing exceptional customer service and advocating for clients using a trauma-informed, client-centered approach. Assist in referrals to HEAT and other outside agencies, as needed. Provide education in energy-saving measures. Must monitor caseload and departmental reports regularly to ensure services are provided promptly. Conduct auditing on client applications to ensure services are provided promptly and within compliance guidelines. May be asked to assist in other program areas, such as client education, reporting, requalifying income, community outreach, and mentoring.

$18.58/hour.

Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
MS Office experience
Proficient in English reading and writing
Bilingual Spanish or Arabic preferred
2-Year degree (Associate's) or higher preferred
WORK SCHEDULE
The typical work schedule is 7:30 a.m.- 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. No weekend or evening hours are required. The location is Salt Lake City.
