This position provides support for maximizing World Relief Chicagoland’s Information Technology resources to optimize its daily operations. Support includes computer inventory management, IT software and hardware support to staff and interns. This position also audits system behavior and works with national IT department and third-party IT companies to uphold cybersecurity protocols. Finally, this position serves as subject matter expert and primary point-of-contact for the preparation/setup and ongoing technical support for computers and network system in the region.Role & Responsibilities

Provide computer hardware and software technical support both in person and remotely to staff, interns and volunteers.Maintain intern laptops and workstations.Manage, track, and protect equipment that is designated for use by staff and interns. This includes regular updating of staff and intern laptops.Maintain, install and test software applications on computer hardware throughout the region.Manage help desk tickets to assist staff and interns with computer and network related issues.Maintain record of IT support.Manage staff and intern tech orientation.Set up employee and intern workstations.Manage regional computer inventory including retiring aged computers.Provide limited training to audio-visual/multi-media equipment users.Work with Office Managers to purchase laptops.Liaise with third party IT support organizations.Set up and break down equipment for All-Staff internal and external meetings.Assist with short term projects as necessary.Other duties as assigned by supervisor.Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Working knowledge of relevant operating systems, software and programming such as Microsoft OS and MS 365.Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook & Teams.Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.Keen attention to detail.Good organization, time management and prioritization skills.Effective communication skills, including speaking, writing and active listening.Great customer service and interpersonal skills.Valid driver's license and good driving record preferred.Requirements

National Evangelicals For the Health of The Nation document .Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience with a history of progressively increasing responsibility and accomplishments.Minimum of two years related work experience strongly preferred.Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 365, all current internet browsers (Chrome, Internet Explorer, Safari and Firefox), including networking concepts and general technical troubleshooting skills.Compensation:
