We are currently seeking an
MDA Future Architecture Assessment Engineer
supporting MDA CAG for our location in Huntsville, AL!
In this role you will be performing threat model verification and validation (V&V) analysis to assess suitability for defined "intended uses" in Hardware-in-the-Loop [HWIL] and all digital Missile Defense System (MDS) simulation testing environments.
Requirements:
BS in a STEM field and three or more years of related engineering experience
Active Secret clearance
Ability to interact effectively with individuals of different experience levels and backgrounds including government and external industry personnel
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required
Experience with modeling and analysis of complex systems
Proficiency in MATLAB
Familiarity with missile defense
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with radar, Electronic Protection, Optical Signature Code (OSC) electro-optical / infrared (EO/IR) signature modeling
Understanding of MDA Systems Engineering practices and procedures
Threat kinematic and radar cross section (RCS) characteristics, with direct cruise missile experience
Software development experience
Knowledge of Linux OS
TS Clearance
Work Location:
