Staff Software Engineer – 13279.
This position will be located in
Roy, Utah
and will support the Sentinel Program.
What You’ll Get To Do:
Support element level software coding & development which includes:
Software Design, develop, and unit testing software code.
Experienced in telemetry and data processing.
Technical experience in software, computer hardware and network, interconnection and/or interfacing technologies.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Job Qualifications:
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
12 Years with Bachelor’s in relevant field of study, 10 Years with Masters, 07 Years with PhD or 04 additional years in lieu of a degree.
Active DoD Secret clearance with a reinvestigation/closed date occurring in the last 6 years.
US Citizenship and ability to obtain & maintain Special Program Access.
Experience with C++ or Python and object-oriented programming concepts.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience in software development Linux.
Experience with AGILE Software development processes.
Experience with Atlassian Tools such as: Jira, Confluence, Git/GitLab, etc.
Knowledge of test concepts: automation, data capture, reporting.
Salary Range:
$142,500 - $213,700. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
