Senior Principal Engineer Test Engineer
for our Advanced Technology Lab (ATL) located outside of Baltimore, Maryland - where we design, manufacture, and test semiconductor products for internal and commercial production customers as well as emerging technology programs.The candidate must be a strong team participant, have excellent communication skills, and be resourceful and multitalented. A strong understanding of semiconductor technology and microelectronic manufacturing test methodologies is essential.The
Senior Principal Engineer Test Engineer
will support development and execution of Process Control Monitoring device test for various fab technologies. Responsibilities include:Understanding test requirements and documenting test plans.Developing necessary software and hardware solutions.Test software and hardware development.Daily and forward-looking test scheduling.Ensuring test data integrity and equipment/software improvements.Supporting the procurement of test equipment.Ensuring configuration control of test software and hardware.Maintaining test quality and documentation quality.Ensuring test equipment calibration and compliance to customer documents.Basic Qualifications for Senior Principal Test Engineer:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 9 years related experience or a Master's Degree with 7 years' experience.Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).Direct semiconductor test engineering experience.Direct experience in leading a team of test and product engineers.Software skills in a modern language such as C#, Python, C++ or Java.Preferred Qualifications:Degree GPA of 3.3/4.0 or higher.Experience making discreet device measurements.Knowledge of Process Control Monitoring (PCM) devices.Experience with wafer or die testing, including ATE Tester and prober operation.Direct hands-on experience building/repairing test hardware.Experience with statistical process control methodologies and software.Exhibit leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills.Direct experience in preparing and presenting presentations to cross-functional teams.Salary Range:
$127,000 - $190,600. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers.Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
