Compensation : $100,000- $120,000

The Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for using their knowledge of data processing, data visualization, and business analysis strategies to provide insights to senior management and business leaders in support of decision-making efforts. Areas of focus include data modeling, transactional/dimensional analysis, and Business Intelligence & Analytics life-cycle management.Their duties include:Collaborating with other data professionals to profile the data and extract data figures.Creating dashboards and visual stories based on findings.Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive data-driven decisions.Leading requirements and/or data solution sessions with business subject matter experts to analyze, validate, and utilize data for consumption by business stakeholders.Enjoying data wrangling, understanding data pipelines business logic, and building solutions for data collection and analysis.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with business SMEs, analysts, and data engineers to design and document analytics dashboards, alerts, and reports.Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and BI solutions.Expert in designing, developing, and maintaining complex Tableau dashboards and reports to facilitate data-driven insights and analytics.Ability to query and display large data sets while maximizing the performance of the analytics solutions.Gather and normalize data from multiple data sources and create Tableau datasets following industry best practices.Expert designing and developing BI solutions using advanced techniques such as interactive filters, parameters, data blending, and calculations.Lead requirements and/or data solution sessions with subject matter experts to analyze, validate, and utilize data for consumption by business stakeholders.Use advanced SQL skills (Window functions, CTEs, etc.) to provide data extracts as needed, as well as find usable information in transactional and dimensional data sources.Implement best practices for improving dashboard and reporting performance.Experience developing wireframes and mock-ups for dashboards and reports as part of a holistic BI storytelling framework.Perform data analysis, workflow analysis, create current/future state data flow diagrams, and help the team assess the business impact of any changes or enhancements.Hands-on experience with administering Tableau Cloud, including user management, access controls, and security settings.
