Luckily, most people have an underutilized washer/dryer, which when combined with our Laundry Pro app, provides the first-ever manual labor work-from-home gig in the world. For all our users, we're a marketplace for a better life.What You'll doArchitect Magic: Design, code, and maintain automated test scripts that’ll transform manual, repetitive work into efficient, error-proof systems.Break the Rules (Smartly): Challenge our developers to think ahead by running code through a gauntlet of tests that simulate the most unpredictable real-world scenarios.Team Up: Work closely with our product managers, engineers, and designers to understand the intricate details of every feature and define test strategies. There will be equity and there will be long hours, a lot of energy spent towards delivering fast, and the work/life balance will be leaning more towards work.Upper-intermediate to fluent speaking and writing English. Able to have a real-time conversation.5+ years of full-time hands-on QA Automation experience.5+ years of hands-on experience automating tests for both front-end and back-end systems.Experience with common client and server testing tools (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Jest).Analyze test results, report findings, and recommend improvements.Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and code quality.Experience with CI/CD pipelines, using tools like Jenkins or GitLab.The ability to see the matrix in the SDLC, understanding Agile, Scrum, and how to fit QA seamlessly into the flow.A knack for collaboration and communication—you speak both "engineer" and "non-engineer" fluently.Skills in testing mobile apps—because our users are everywhere.Strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks and keep projects on schedule.Entrepreneurial spirit. You are self-directed, driven, innovative, and biased towards action in fast-paced environments.Self-motivated and a desire to work in a high velocity, async environment.Work schedule that allows for a 9am Central Time standup and overlaps with Central Standard Time by 5 hours.Experience in performance testing.Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured.Knowledge of cloud environments and containers (AWS, GCP, Docker).Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent demonstrated ability.
