www.mtsi-va.com .Responsibilities:The candidate will support simulation integration analysis, data analysis, interface analysis, and simulation verification and validation activities. The candidate will assist with the development of material to be presented at engineering reviews that summarizes the analytical work performed. Other activities include establishing requirements for evaluation tools and processes, development of analytical tools, providing analytical support to the test planning process, and coordination of analytical results within the MDS community.Qualifications:Advanced Degree in an Engineering field.Knowledge of the interactions between and the integration of the MDS elements including THAAD, Patriot, Aegis BMD, Aegis LRS&T, Host Nation elements, GMD components, Sea-Based X-Band Radar, Cobra Dane, Upgraded Early Warning Radars, C2BMC, AN/TPY-2 (FBM), and space systems.Must possess the ability to clearly express ideas/concepts, perform as part of a team, and be capable of operating in a multi-tasking environment.Good computational software skills are required.Qualified applicants will have excellent communication, organizational, and technical writing skills.Must be proactive to assure that responsibilities are completed on or ahead of schedule.The candidate must be able to work within a collaborative environment composed of Government, Prime Contractor, and Supporting Contractor personnel.Active Secret ClearanceDesired Skills:Knowledge of the tactical messages that support these interactions, including TADIL-J, B-series, VMF, GMD XML, and ATOMS protocols.Knowledge of the HWIL architecture infrastructure, including truth presentation to the element models (SMHR, signatures, environment) and experiment control and interaction Protocol Data Units (PDUs).Experience with Linux, Python, MATLAB, C++, or Java is desired.Familiarity with Objective Simulation Framework (OSF) or Single Stimulation Framework (SSF) is desired.3+ years' experience in missile defense system analysis is required.Please Note: U.S. Citizenship is required for most MTSI positions.#LI-AS1#LI-Onsite
