Summary/Job Description
The IT Business Analyst will leverage their experience and industry insight to drive solutioning and user adoption of digital transformation efforts. The IT Business Analyst serves as the primary liaison between users and the project team on solution deployments and ensuring the effectiveness of stakeholder adoption. Additionally, the individual will be responsible for actively promoting utilization of the solutions throughout the Enterprise, aiding the Service Team in adjudication of related service tickets, advising leadership on the applications roadmap to meet stakeholder needs, and ensuring efforts are contributing to the strategic Information Operations vision, mission, and goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Define, design, develop, test, deploy, and support business applications across various platforms.
Lead the technical delivery of various solution initiatives ensuring the designs meet business and technical requirements that fully leverage the capabilities of business applications.
Gather requirements and develop design specifications to maximize the benefit of business applications.
Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including developing test scripts/scenarios and acceptance criteria.
Lead the development and maintenance of requirements documents, solution diagrams, business process maps, and testing artifacts.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities to increase efficiencies, reduce cost, and reduce operational risk.
Coordinate with stakeholders/end users in the software development lifecycle and mentor the team throughout the project delivery.
Maintain deep technology understanding of related applications, possibilities of configurations, integration, and associated limitations and constraints.
Incorporate industry best practices into day-to-day activities and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills and Experience
Knowledge of software development principles and lifecycle.
Experience with DevOps tools (minimum a source control system).
Analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Interest in Microsoft technologies, Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Azure cloud and a willingness to constantly grow, learn and enhance skills in this area.
Experience assessing feasibility of migrating customer solutions and/or integrating with 3rd party systems both Microsoft and non-Microsoft platforms.
Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining documentation, frameworks and strategies as they relate to technical applications.
Experience in training, knowledge transfer and change management processes related to technical applications.
Desired Skills and Experience
A degree in Computer Science or related area.
Programming background or Lo- / No-code development platform experience.
A feel for UX design and app UI creation.
Experience with Oracle Cloud Applications.
