KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Specialist to join our Federal Advisory practice.

Responsibilities:

Develop code to prepare, extract, and enrich a variety of structured and unstructured data sources, working with the business to understand available resources / constraints around data.

Create production quality data pipelines and Machine Learning pipelines that can be deployed at scale.

Translate advanced business analytics problems into technical approaches that yield actionable recommendations, in diverse domains (risk management, product development, marketing research, supply chain, public policy).

Support leading teams in the development of client solutions utilizing analytics, exploratory data analysis, data wrangling, and ETL.

Provide oversight, scoping, technical assistance, and quality control over the development of analytics solutions using analytics / data wrangling tools (e.g. Python, R, SQL, SAS).

Perform operations to prepare data for analysis (e.g. data cleansing, data integration, data transformation).

Lead discussions with clients on the value proposition of analytics, analytic methodologies, and outputs of analytic solutions.

Develop documentation / guides for analytics usage and maintenance.

Qualifications:

A minimum of three years of data engineering / analytics experience.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college / university.

Design / implement scalable, reliable, and high-performance data solutions on AWS using Databricks, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.

Develop end-to-end data pipelines, data warehousing, and analytics solutions leveraging Databricks and AWS services such as S3, Redshift, Glue, and Lambda.

Hands-on experience data engineering, cloud architecture, or related fields with a focus on AWS and Databricks.

Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, SQL.

Familiarity with development tools and methodologies (e.g. Agile, GIT, test driven development, CI/CD release management).

Ability to travel as required to support firm engagements.

U.S. citizenship required and an active U.S. Federal government Secret security clearance.
