Senior Associates are responsible for instructing Associates when needed, asking insightful questions, identifying potential challenges, and understanding the necessary steps to propel a project forward. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Financial Analysis : Perform financial modeling and analysis to assess the financial health and performance of healthcare organizations involved in transactions. Analyze financial statements, evaluate revenue streams, assess profitability, and identify key financial metrics.
Market Research : Conduct extensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks within the healthcare sector. Gather and analyze data on market size, competitive landscape, regulatory environment, and industry dynamics to provide valuable insights for decision-making.
Due Diligence : Assist in the due diligence process by collecting and reviewing relevant documents, such as contracts, financial records, operational data, and regulatory filings. Analyze this information to identify potential risks, opportunities for value creation, and to validate the assumptions made during the transaction process.
Valuation Analysis : Contribute to the valuation process by assessing the worth of healthcare organizations, assets, or investments. Use various valuation techniques, such as discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis, market multiples, and comparable transactions, to determine fair value and assist in pricing negotiations.
Transaction Support : Support the transaction team throughout the deal lifecycle. They assist in preparing transaction-related documentation, including investment memorandums, pitch books, and presentations. Participate in client meetings, coordinate with external stakeholders, and help manage the overall deal process.
Financial Modeling : Develop complex financial models to evaluate different scenarios, forecast financial performance, and simulate the impact of potential strategic initiatives. These models aid in decision-making, risk assessment, and the development of transaction strategies.
Report Generation : Prepare reports and presentations summarizing their findings and recommendations. These reports are shared with internal teams, clients, and other stakeholders to support informed decision-making and guide transaction strategies.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university required
Master's degree in finance or accounting concentration preferred
Additional certifications (ASA, ABV, CVA, CFA, CPA, etc.) preferred
Minimum three (3) years of experience in a consulting role preferred
Minimum three (3) years of academic or relevant work experience to strongly demonstrate the following skills and knowledge: data analysis, statistical analysis, financial modeling, and forecasting
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced-level Excel proficiency required
