The role involves writing and executing test cases, developing automation scripts, and improving testing processes for applications in high-performance network environments.Responsibilities:Develop test suites to validate the correct behavior of applications and application featuresCreate and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks/libraries in Python.Manually execute non-automated test cases when necessaryAdvocate, develop, and deploy new testing/automation tools and conceptsAssist software development team on bug fixes, bug isolation, issues and resolutionQualifications and Requirements:5+ years in a software/hardware test engineering with a focus on both manual and automation testing roleExperience in software development (languages such as Shell, JavaScript, Python etc., are a plus)Strong experience in testing applications, including functional, regression, performance, and integration testingExperience with test case management tools like TestRail and bug-tracking tools like MantisAble to write scripts (Python, shell and REST APIs) that help with debugging and validation of application featuresTesting experience with IP networking, and switching technologiesHands-on engineering lab experience testing hardware or software (highly preferred)Core Competencies:Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate professionally across the organizationExcellent organizational, planning, presentation, troubleshooting, and multi-tasking skillsAbility to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalismStrong attention to detail and exceptional customer supportProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteMust be able to work independently and as a team memberAbility to prioritize and be flexible in a fast-paced environmentEducation:Bachelor’s degree in CS, EE or equivalentTravel:
