Micrologic is seeking a qualified Senior DevOps Engineer to add to our team of dedicated, trusted, experienced & professional personnel. The Senior DevOps Engineer will be an integral part of the Software Development team.

Core Responsibilities

Maintaining the backups with the help of different AWS Services

Understanding AWS CloudWatch and other automation services

Understanding modern CI/CD platforms (preferably TeamCity) & Software Delivery Pipelines using the pipeline-as-code methodology

Develop and maintain relevant documentation for new enterprise-scale technologies

Create and monitor checks.

Training and providing technical mentorship to team members.

Research new technology in response to enterprise-scale business requirements, systems configurations, or technology innovations

Develop features to improve existing CI/CD pipelines and ensure security practices are in place.

Research and ensure the strategic alignment of migration, testing, implementation plans, configuration, and support of new and existing technologies

Validate the DevOps pipelines for those applications and microservices, and update, as needed, to reflect appropriate owners.

Prioritize the migration effort in collaboration with owners and Solution Architects; migration includes requirements at the application level for Legacy and related self-service enablement.

Act as liaison for DevOps – communicate timelines and set expectations.

Work with the application team DevOps resources to understand upcoming changes and then communicate to all teams.

Manage and monitor numerous AWS services involved (Cost Explorer, Amazon Inspector, etc.)

Document and maintain technical documentation

Skills & Knowledge:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and/or 6+ years of experience with hands-on experience with relevant technologies

Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience with AWS and various DevOps tools and technologies

Minimum required skills include Git (with both CLI and GUI) & branching strategies

Experience with building and managing AWS infrastructure (such as S3, SQS, SNS, Lambda, IAM, EC2, API Gateways, Cognito, AppSync, etc.)

Experience with configuring database infrastructure on AWS (RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, Redis)

Experience with AWS networking (VPC, NAT, ASG, Security Groups, ALB, Peering, Routing, CloudFront, Route53, etc.)

Experience with AWS services (EC2, ElastiCache, CloudWatch, OpenSearch, Secret Manager, CodeBuild, etc)

Experience with creating gold images / AMIs and employing auto-scaling

Excellent Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills

Strong AWS knowledge is a must

Knowledge of Kubernetes is a must

Knowledge of Docker containers is a must

Knowledge of Microservices is a must

Ability to think outside the box and breakdown complex problems

Must be able to see opportunities for improvement, and closely work with other teams
