This infrastructure provides Expeditors the global connectivity, compute power, backups, and storage to meet its growing demand to move freight. The Storage Administrator is responsible for the support, troubleshooting, installation, and deployment of Storage and Backup based systems.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESBe a collaborative member of a highly motivated and agile teamInstall, configure and manage all block (SAN) and network attached storage (NAS) (Dell PowerStore, Cohesity, Pure Storage Arrays, Hitachi Storage Arrays)Provides production support for arrays and fiber channel switchesDiagnose and isolate array, fiber channel switching, and application-related problemsPerform hardware maintenance, repairs, & replacementsEnsure backup infrastructure is online and availableFunction as a subject matter expert for Storage and Backup related questions for other groups within ExpeditorsProvide recommendations to management through research and review of recent industry solutions in various Storage related technologiesCreate documentation and training material; provide training to othersThis position is on-site and will reside in the greater Seattle, WA area. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate. Relocation assistance is not offered for this position.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSAbility to work collaboratively in an agile team environmentAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervisionExcellent written and oral communication skills with a focus on customer service2+ years of experience with storage management technologies (NAS, SAN & FC Switches)Knowledge of backup strategies and productsAn aptitude for methodical and comprehensive troubleshootingBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experienceDESIRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience with Hitachi and Pure StorageExperience with Dell PowerStoreExperience with Brocade Storage Area Networks (SAN)Experience with Cohesity backup solutionsExperience with agile (SAFe) project planningScripting in at least one language such as Python, Perl, PowerShell, ruby, bash, GoPracticed in designing and implementing business continuity / disaster recovery and high availability plans.
