Summary:Job Responsibilities:Utilize MS SQL Server Database Administration tools including Managed DB Engine, Redgate, Quest tools, SSIS, Analysis, Data mirroring, replication, advanced compression, MS Cluster administration, Windows 2012/2003/2000, MS Central management services, Visual Basic, .NET, IIS, XA, Perl, PowerShell, reporting and analysis, SQL migration.Conduct Microsoft Assessment and Planning for SQL Server 2005/2008/2012/2014, Microsoft cluster services, SAN, and hold ITIL V3 foundation certification.Support mobile applications (Apple iOS and Android), manage Web Sphere, JDBC connections configurations, and possess Oracle developer knowledge, including migration databases from Oracle to SQL Server and DB2 Connect.Work on smaller, moderately complex projects that require a singular area of expertise.Ensure application availability and performance of the databases that support corresponding applications by collaborating with business customers and service providers.Coordinate with the team to ensure associated hardware resources allocated to the databases are optimized for high availability and performance.Monitor database systems proactively to ensure secure services.Qualifications

Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related discipline.Three years of related work experience preferred.Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL Access standard).Problem-solving and effective oral and written communication skills.Awareness of technological advances related to the subject matter.Ability to effectively communicate recommendations to individuals and groups.Experience working on multiple projects as a project team member.Additional Information
